situation is, i'll never return to the wt.
my family with never leave the wt.. depending on who you ask you'll get the following answers when you ask about me:.
my family: he's confused.
Today i text my mum and said "is it ok if i come visit you tomorrow, <my daughter> is asking for you." (she's 2 years old).
My mum replied "no. i cant see you. I'd like to see <daughter> though. Can you have someone bring her over wednesday?"
I am not in this situation, nor have I ever been, nor will I ever be.
That being said, I would tell my mother that she can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned after this kind of statement.
as our fade continues, the wife and i have decided to take up "the forbidden practice of.......yoga"!!!!😱.
i was quite skeptical at first but so far it has really de-stressed our life in quite a spectacular way!!
not to mention the physical benefits.. anyone else try yoga or a similar discipline?
SHIRLEYW. . . every time the trainer alluded to it Venus kept saying "my religion doesn't allow it' or "I can't do it because of my religion"! She was so spot on to turn down the offer to Yoga but if you asked her what was last weeks Watchtower about she wouldn't have a clue.

hello everyone, i have some really good news, and just can't hold it in any longer.
my youngest is going off to a university in august, and he will be majoring in business management, and marketing.
when i see what my son is doing with his life, it makes the decision to leave the jws, i made all those years ago, when his older brother was just starting school, all the more worth it.

Sesame Street features THE COUNT who is a BLOODSUCKING MATHEMATICIAN.
My mother would make me turn off PBS too when shows started talking about evolution; and when I was really young, she would turn off Sesame Street if "the Count" came on because he "drank blood."

so real quick, i know this comes up now and then and i've looked over some of the posts from the past but here's the thing.. when i was a jw i drank all the cool aid, i was 100% and so i have all my own arguments (from the jw's) for why the bible is inspired.
i no longer believe this but i'd really like to read something that is pretty much 100% academic on this subject.
i want to read what scholars have to say about the authenticity of the bible and it's claim at being the inspired word of god.
slimboyfat Robert M Price the Bible Geek he is the best! I've listened to all his podcasts.
And don't forget his lesser known podcast The Human Bible!
The Human Bible is also an excellent podcast. A little better "production values" than Bible Geek, but the information in both is great. He also seems like a good guy (had an email exchange with him a couple years back).
